You close your eyes.
You pretend that war isn't happening.
You don't know what to do.
Unfortunately, the enemy has already attacked—the war is on.
OPEN YOUR EYES. FACE THE SHADOWS. TOGETHER WE DEEPEN.
Historically, Feminine Weapon Day has been about reflecting beauty, resting, visioning, discovering human design, and expressing love.
All while providing for children of abuse, extreme poverty and human trafficking as Mothers & Fathers of the Universe.
Now, in 2021, we’re #FacingtheShadows. Collectively.
You’re invited.
The shadow, according to psychiatrist Carl Jung, is the parts of ourselves that we refuse to look at—both positive and negative.
Come look together.
See the things you need to see to change in union. Unravel the woundings and intergenerational trauma inherited from our ancestors.
Once only accessible in New York City or Los Angeles, join the 8th Annual Feminine Weapon Day Virtual Conference on 👋 Clubhouse—Saturday, January 30th!
Connect to the Collective Shadow through conversation, storytelling, transformation, activity, music and movement! View the schedule here!
In partnership with ARTEAMOR 501c3, Feminine Weapon Day benefits the development of a Culture Arts Community Center in Newark, NJ for at-risk youth who live in the lowest 0.5% of poverty of all of the American neighborhoods.
Through collective efforts, #WeDeepen!

Letter from Dilia Jelen of ARTEAMOR, 501c3 Partner
What a year it has been since Feminine Weapon Day 2020. So much change. So much we learned about ourselves and about the world.
9 years ago I began to serve children who lived in extreme poverty; orphans, foster children and abuse survivors. I saw the worst cases imaginable. Child mothers, some as young as 9 years old. I met girls were shot at because they ran away from their sex-trafficking captors. I was asked to tell children to be brave as they left for surgery to have their bodies reconstructed after sexual abuse. I have seen with my own eyes children living out of plastic bags—and schools with machine gun bullet holes riddled along the walls.
I began ARTEAMOR to heal and educate through the arts. Through a network of professional artists we’ve provided Music, Film & Photography Equipment. Design, Songwriting, Musical Instruments and Dance workshops. We’ve reached the children in Haiti, Nicaragua, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, American Samoa and on White Earth Reservation to support indigenous children here in the United States.
Providing not only training but also the tools needed for these children to thrive. Children are learning how to be entrepreneurs. Having the ability to shift and change their own lives.
A few months ago we began to dream in our own backyard. ARTEAMOR is developing a Cultural Arts Community Center for underserved children in Newark, NJ—music studio, dance studio, classrooms, rehearsal rooms and a theater. We are fundraising to equip the center with what the children will need: Musical Instruments, Recording Equipment, Music Software, Computers, A Sound System, Lights, Floors, Mirrors, and Furniture.
We ask that you join us. Support our efforts in making sure children do not fall between the cracks. Every child deserves opportunity. Every child deserves support from a healthy community; our humanity.
Grateful for you.
