Ardilla is a consultant for people, projects, and products in the circular economy. Her company, Pollima, is expanding to create materials made from agricultural waste and mycelium.
What's your zone of genius?
Circular economy! To rope in the resistant, I'm considering a new term: sustainable capitalism. Either way, my life is dedicated to creating new systems of production and consumption so that we don't have to convince any one person to change anything about their daily routine.

Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do for biodiversity, for trees, and most specifically for ancient redwoods; to create abundance for all beings. I see humanity like an amoeba - and each person is a cilium. Each person only has time to make one squiggle in their entire life. If we work together, our one squiggle can move us in a positive, regenerative, and healthy direction.
